Heat Ousted In Semi-Finals Of Festival Cup
The Huron Heat Peewee C team made it to the semi-finals of the Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge this past weekend but was eliminated by a strong Lambeth Lancers team by a score of 6-2. The Lancers went on to win the 'C' division of the tournament, allowing only 5 goals all weekend. The Heat scored 3 of those goals in the two games against them. Scoring Heat goals in the semi-finals were Hailee Masse & Brook Kootstra. Overall it was a fun and successful weekend for the girls in their first tournament of the season. The team also realized some area's of their game that need improvement and will be working on that in the near future to be able to improve their game as the season progresses.
