The Heat couldn't hold off the St. Mary's Rock as they scored with 3 minutes left in the game to grab a point in the important Peewee C Provincial Playdown game. The tie may jeopardize the Heat's chances at advancing to Provincials depending on what happens in other action. The girls had a slow start and never really gained any momentum as the game progressed. The tight checking game remained scoreless after two. Hailee Brown found the net from the point on a pass from Lindsay Merner early in the third before the Rock battled back late for the tie.
