Pink On The Rink Tournament
The Novice HL girls finished with a record of 1-1-2 during round robin play at the annual South Huron-Pink On The Rink tournament this past weekend.
Highlights of the weekend included Rylan Anderson and Hanna Mueller scoring their first goals on the year in Game #2 vs. TCDMHA in an eventual 5-1 win. Emry Dalcourt recorded a hat trick in that game as well. Strong goaltending by Harlow Keys kept the girls in every game as the Heat were only one goal short of a berth into the finals on Sunday!
The highlight of the weekend was a hard fought battle Saturday evening that ended in a 0-0 tie against the eventual tournament champions-South Huron. Strong defense was shown in that game by Aven Dykstra and Alyssa Hakkers. Keep playing hard girls, the wins will come. Your coaches were very proud of the way you played!
