Congratulations to the Huron Heat U15C Team
The Huron Heat U15C team travelled to St. Thomas on Nov 26-28 for the
Panthers on the Prowl tournament.
The girls played hard and most importantly as a team and were on the right side of the score board for 4 straight games during the tournament to make it to the finals. They successfully beat Chatham Kent 2-1, St. Thomas 4-0, North Middlesex- 2-0 and St. Thomas again 4-1. The Huron Heat Team had to face Chatham Kent again in the final game. The girls were down 2-0 in the game and fought back hard to end the game in a 3-3 tie. With no one scoring in the overtime period the game ended in shoot out. Unfortunately the shoot was not as lucky and the girls fell to a 4-3 loss. This was a tremendous showing for the girls, they should be commended on how far they have come this season and we can hardly wait to see where they go. CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS, you represented Huron Heat proudly.
