Tryout Schedule

Please see the Huron_Heat_Registration_Pkg_2016 area to review the registration package that outlines the registration process and rates.

The rest of this article will explain some of the details around tryouts for the 2016-2017 season.

The Huron Heat anticipates having Tier 1 teams at Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget. These teams will play at a level that reflects the teams skill and ability from A/BB/B/C.  The Huron Heat also expects to have a second or Tier 2 team at Novice HL, Atom C/HL, Peewee C, Bantam C and Midget C. Spring tryouts are being held to determine these teams.  For some players this tryout process use to happen in September.  We have moved this process up to April for planning purposes.

Spring tryouts give us a chance to have all players register and gives the executive the ability to start planning for the 2016-2017 season.

We encourage any player that is interested in playing Huron Heat Girls hockey to attend the Tier 1 team tryouts as the total number of players will determine the number of players we will be icing on each team in each age category. If you prefer not to attend the Tier 1 tryouts but wish to play on the Tier 2 team in that age category, please complete the online Huron_Heat_Registration_Pkg_2016 and declare your intent to play by email to [email protected].  April 18 is the deadline for tier 2 team players to register so we know those player numbers for the tryout process. A registration deposit of $150 is required that will be subtracted from your outstanding balance.  Tier 2 players can also register at any one of the tryout locations during tryouts or at Blyth Arena March 22/23 7-8:30pm. Clinton Arena March 31, 6-8 pm. Hensall Arena April 13, 6-7 pm. Seaforth Arena April 9th.

There is a cost to running spring tryouts.  We are charging $60.00 for evaluations to cover the ice costs.  This $60 will go towards the total price of your registration base fee. This fee is charged to you weather you attend tryouts or not.  This fee is non refundable if you do not register with the Huron Heat.

Please see and read the Huron_Heat_Registration_Pkg_2016 for more details.
