2017/2018 Regular Season is coming to an end
Submitted By ddejong on Friday, January 26, 2018
The 17-18 season has been chock full of success, excitement and growth thus far. We hit the ice in September with ten teams and quickly added the 11th, our first ever Senior team, shortly after. With 186 players rostered between the ages of four and 26, it’s safe to say the future in bright for the Huron Heat!

Our five teams competing in WOGHL have just wrapped up their regular season. Congratulations to these teams, all of which have shown tremendous growth, development and a competitive edge! Whether it is win, lose or draw, these teams all show positivism, a love for the game and exemplify what we are all about.

Our five teams competing in LLFHL have begun playoffs and are working hard to earn a spot at the prestigious Championship Weekend which is held at the end of March. Our tier one teams all had very successful regular seasons, with special mention to our Novice and Atom teams who placed first in their divisions!

We are proud to offer a place to play for our Senior team, made up of 20 – 26 year old women. These ladies have set the tone for continued success at this level with strong performances in both tournament and exhibition play. We are so excited to see athletes continuing to play the sport we all love as adults.

Please watch our playoff and play down schedules on the website and come support all of our teams as they move into this exciting portion of the season! Go Heat Go!
