Name changes of divisions starting next season

Effective as of 2020-2021 season, Hockey Canada has changed the names of some divisions of female hockey. Specifically, those listed below. 
As such, all OWHA Regulations, and all Huron Heat divisions will be changing to the new system

 Please refer below for age division name changes and birth years for 2020-2021 season.

CURRENT NAME BIRTH YEAR NEW NAME

Initiation -2014 & younger -Under-7 (U7)
Novice -2012 & younger -Under-9 (U9)
Atom -2010 & younger -Under-11 (U11)
Peewee -2008 & younger -Under-13 (U13)
Bantam -2006 & younger -Under-15 (U15)
Midget -2003 & younger -Under-18 (U18)
Intermediate -1999 & younger -Under-22 (U22)
Fundamentals -Open Age







*All ages as of December 31.
