Monday January 31, Return to Play
Dear Huron Heat Families,   

We are excited our players will be heading back on the ice this Monday, January 31st! All practices and games will resume. Please read the information below for updates on the return to hockey.

General Health Guidelines Before Coming to the Arena 
You will be required to pass active screening when entering the arenas as per the arena’s process. It is advised that you complete the Ontario Covid Self-Assessment: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/selfassessment/ prior to leaving home so that you are aware of the most current screening questions and protocols.
If a player/participant does not pass the screening or is unwell, please ensure you review the following health unit and government of Ontario protocols. 
o Self-Isolation Requirements —   HP Health
Coronavirus (COVID-19) self-assessment (ontario.ca) (isolation instructions will be linked if you fail the screening) 
If a player or participant is sick, please stay home. When in doubt, sit out.
Review arena guidelines and be prepared for changes when you arrive. Be patient and kind with arena staff and other attendees. 
All public health directives must be followed. Wear your mask as required, wash your hands, maintain physical distance.

Facility Guidelines
Overall building capacity is limited to 50%. 
Spectator area is 50%
Entry into the arena for participants is limited to 30 minutes prior to their ice time. We ask spectators to arrive at the time of the rental unless required to support participants.
All groups must exit the arena 15 minutes after their rental time expires. 
Masks must be worn at all times by spectators, and be worn by participants at all times prior to going to the ice surface.
Everyone 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination to enter the arena.
