Novice Tryout and Skate information
Jason Dietz has volunteered to help co-ordinate the upcoming Novice Girls Hockey development skates for the Huron Heat Female Hockey Association. Jason will also be communicating with the Novice Girls parent group.

Please read rest of the article for more information

Please send an email to [email protected] and let us know if you plan on attending or not attending the skates for the Huron Heat Novice Girls program. We would like to know ahead of time how many skaters will be attending so we can have enough on ice instructors and so we can begin to plan for the 2016/17 season. There will be no fee charged to attend the Novice Girls development skates.

We encourage anyone that is interested in playing Novice Girls hockey to attend the first Novice development skate on Sunday April 17 at 11 am at Hensall Arena. There will be a parent meeting at 11 am during the ice session. Please attend this meeting. The number of players that attend may determine whether we ice a second or possibly even a third Novice Girls team.

After the first skate, if it is determined that there will be enough players to have more than one Novice team, the tryout process for the Tier 1 team will begin. Players who would like to be considered for selection to the Tier 1 team must attend tryouts. If you are not attending tryouts but would like to play on the Tier 2 or Tier 3 Novice Girls team, please reply with an email of your intent and complete the registration form and provide payment of the $150 non-refundable deposit (cheque dated May 1, 2016). Registration deadline for players not attending tryouts is April 18, 2016.

Looking forward to your replies.
