SEASON SEGMENT #1 REGISTRATION & INFO
Submitted By ADMIN on Tuesday, September 8, 2020
The Huron Heat FHA will continue to work with and follow all guidelines released by Hockey Canada, OWHA, our Public Health Unit and our arenas. Things are continuously changing, so please be prepared to be flexible and open minded during this season.

SEGMENT #1:

The first segment of the 2020/2021 season will focus on skills and development and is scheduled to begin the week of October 5th, 2020 for a period of 4 weeks. Players in U11-U18 will receive 2 ½ hours and players U9 and younger will receive 2 hours of on ice skills and development instruction each week (1 weekday session & 1 weekend session). We are currently accepting registration fees for segment #1 ONLY. The remaining fees will be posted and collected in the coming weeks. Segment #1 schedule to be posted the week of September 21st, 2020.

Registration Fee for Segment #1: $175.00 (U11-U18), $150.00 (U9 and younger)
Registration Fee for Segment #1 Breakdown
          - One-time insurance fee - $55.00
          - Ice/Administration Fees $120.00 (U11-U18), $95 (U9 and younger)

There is a new registration platform that OWHA has released for all associations. If you have already registered your daughter(s) on our website that registration was preliminary to get an idea on numbers of participants. Please also register your daughter(s) through the new RAMP platform as soon as possible as this is the new (and only) registration provider moving forward.

Go to
Ramp Registration Portal to create an account and register. Open the Ramp Registration Process document for further instructions on how to complete the registration process.

Deadline for segment #1 registration will be Monday September 21st, 2020. This is to allow time to review number of participants and ensure sufficient ice time availability while adhering to the arenas policies and procedures.

SEGMENT #2:

The second segment of the 2020/2021 is scheduled for November 01st, 2020 – December 31st, 2020. This segment will consist of game play (3 on 3 and 4 on 4). Fees for segment 2 TBD, dependant on registration numbers.

SEGMENT #3:

The third segment of the 2020/2021 is scheduled for January 1st, 2021 until the end of the season. The format of this segment will depend on whether there are any changes to the regulations set out by Hockey Canada, OWHA, our public health unit or arenas. If there are no changes we will continue with the same format as segment # 2. Fees for segment 3 TBD, dependant on registration numbers.

As per municipal guidelines spectators are not permitted into arenas at this time. Players are encouraged to come fully dressed if and/or when possible. Currently, dressing rooms are available if needed. Please note that players have been allotted 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after ice times when using change rooms.
