Heat Back On Track With 4-1 Win Over St. Mary's
After a lack luster performance against the Lucknow Sepoys the Peewee C Heat got back on track with a strong outing against the St. Mary's Rock. The drive was there as the girls won most of the little puck battles and just wanted it more than the oposition at both end of the ice. Lindsay Merner netted 2, followed by Isabella Hurley and Hailee Masse with an empty netter. Ava Overholt had 3 assists, Brooke Kootstra, Erin Mathers, and Masse had 1 each. Olivia Wightman picked up the win in net. Next action is an important Provincial Playdown game in St. Mary's Sunday night.
